What Makes Formula 1™ A Real Brand?

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Ok ive read a little articles about this from
https://www.marketingprofs.com/ea/qst_question.asp?qstID=3858
and the links in it as well, but Im unsure how to apply it to Formula 1 Grand Prix racing (lets use this as an example for discussion). Zahid replied...,"Superior consumer value
Differentiation
Marketing & Sales support
Low-cost operation
Superior buyer value
Economically viable..." as key factors

May i noe whats the difference between consumer value and superior buyer value?(Buyer=consumer) Or whats the diff between economically viable and low-cost operation,it seems the same to me. (economic=low cost)

I think im confused on what are the elements of a successful brand? Im thinking that; to be considered a real successful brand- a brand has to succeed in; (1)differentiation, (2)profit making, (3)the ability to etch in consumers to make them come back again, (4)being consistent in setting out what it supposed to do and (5)reaching out to consumers in diversified ways.

A brand is really one if thru its logos, taglines and services have an extra unique ingredient tt distincts it.

Customers dun mistake it for another company by the sheer logo or indication of it.

A brand is really 1,if it creates financial value for the company. This shows that its branding is successful.

A brand definitely has to make customers remember them and come back for more.

A brand should not fall back on its promise and communicate similar values to consumers.A brand should communicates in many ways.

For example, formula 1 has souvenirs, computer games, hotel packages.

This 5 elements? So if Formula 1 does this?its considered a successful brand?Does market share dominance count?

Yeah, in short, I just want to know what are the criteria for a brand to meet to be considered succesful?

Anyone kind enough to tell me more?
Regards,
Ram
