Generating Leads

What is the best way to start generating leads for a b-b software product. This is not for some specific industry vertical but a information management suite across industries.

If somebody can customize the answer to India it would be better.

    There are so many ways to start. Here are just a few:

    If you want to use technology, you can try Google Adwords or maybe buy a reputable list and send a direct mail piece (either electronic or hard copy) to.

    If you want to use people time, you can network at meetings, cold call potential companies (do a manual search using phone directories, etc.), etc.
