Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
This is a b2b company offering: Whole Company Coaching, anywhere, any when, an end to end process management system for the HR client, using telephone and technology, its 'green' and coaching is delivered by top expert and supported executive and developmental coaches. We've called our products : Whole Company Coaching, Awesome Coaches, Awesome Coaching. ( none of these are the business name) Our temporary name is Minova Coaching Solutions. We also have access to 'Galeforce' to be used in conjunction with coaching. We would like it to be a 'today' and memorable name and still professional enough to appeal to organisation.

    "Coaching" is laden with meanings. I'm assuming you're providing executive or business coaching (as opposed to life/personal coaching). Companies are likely looking for the former, while individuals look for the latter.

    So, to keep your name targeted to the proper group, consider using "Business Coaching" in the name (or at least in the tagline):
    * All Business Coaching (ABC)
    * Business Coaching Results

    In the spirit of keeping it simple, how about something like "ChalkTalk"

    Your brand name in itself can probably not tell you're whole message. You want something that's memorable but when used gives the audience a feel for what you are about. Building your brand is going to be more important than just your brand name. The challenge these days is finding something that sticks...but is not already taken!

    Strataforce coaching
    Vital Direction
    i-strategize - has few google results. If you say it allowed it means "I strategize" but the "i" is accepted as being "now". Using a name like this I believe would allow you to expand your branding pitch into themes like: we empower your corporation to act strategically.

    tagline "delivering sustainable performance" - there you have your green and reinforce what your mission is (or what I decipher it to be)

    by the way - need a guinea pig? I always open coaching! :)

    Instead of guessing about what might be a good name - I suggest.

    Do some key word searches on Google centred around your core and philosophies and see what you get back.

    Find out what are the most searched terms and this will give you some insight into how people think when looking for a coach or coaching service.

    Once you have several good words, then you can conjure up a great name and accompanying tag line :))

    My Motto is: Whenever in doubt; ask the market.

    Good luck.

    Congratulations on your new business venture!

    Key areas mentioned:
    - B2B
    - HR client
    - Green
    - Executive experienced coaches

    Your brand and especially your name needs to blend with these key areas.

    Suggestions:
    - Human Capital Coaching Solutions
    - Business Coaching Solutions
    - Green Business Coaching Solutions
    - Premium Business Coaching Solutions
    - Experienced B2B Coaching Enterprise
    - Executive B2B Coaching Management Group

    Solutions is perfect ...that is what you will be providing.

    I truly don't think "Awesome or Galeforce" is what you need... don't let your clients guess what your services are? Your name should say it all. Sometimes we only have our titles to capture their attention. Take a jump ahead of the rest!

    Good luck!

    Hi Gale,

    I'm really not sure what you mean by a "green" coaching business, you stated your target was an HR company.
    "Galeforce" unless you are marketing to weather folks doesn't strike me as a name that has any relationship to coaching, in fact it draws up thought of hurricanes....troopers, Katrina...I think you are getting the picture? Memorable but not what you want.

    I am a Certified Coach and would be happy to talk this over with you, brainstorm, etc. If you (or anybody else) would like a complimentary telephone consultation please email me at [Email address deleted by staff], to arrange a mutually agreeable day/time.
