Promotional Branding Items For Farmers?

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi all,

I'm attending an agricultural show next month. The main attendees I'm looking to draw to my stand will be landowners & farmers.

I have a number of things done for this event at the moment and would now like to have branded promotional items - as a nice/simple give away for those who do come to my stand.

Currently I am looking at all the 'normal' things like pens, stress-balls, mugs... I would also like to see if there are any other items I could look at as a give away that would be more 'relevant' to the farming sector? Any ideas??

I don't have a crazy budget for this - so I won't be giving away real sized tractors or anything...

All ideas welcome

When it comes to any kind of giveaway item, it is important to stay relevant to your industry, however two other incredibly important factors are to make your giveaway useful and creative. You want something people will keep for an extended period of time so that your name stays in front of them.

If you do something standard like pens, you could consider ones with a little twist. Perhaps something like these goofy pens that are not only different (and talk!) but they are also made from corn plastic:

There are other great corn plastic products as well that might be good for the agriculture industry such as:
    Mugs: https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=7303681&...
    or less expensive coasters: https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=7303683&...

Other fun items could include something like a rain gauge in the shape of a tractor:

or a t-shirt custom printed and then compressed into the shape of a tractor:

It's also a great time of year to order calendars. The majority of people have not received or purchased a calendar for 2010 yet. If you give them one that is interesting, you may just land yourself prime real estate in their office for the next 12 months. You could consider one with stock images for each month that just put your logo at the bottom, such as this legendary tractors calendar:

or you could have one created completely custom where you choose specific images for each page.

I hope these suggestions help! Feel free to contact me through my profile if you are interested in more ideas.

    Cheers!

What are you selling? Ideally, your give away should have a clear tie-in, otherwise you're just giving away something "cute" but isn't memorable for your business.

How about pouches of seeds with your logo on them? You might accompany them with small shovels also with your logo/contact information.

As the marketing director for promotional products supplier AND a farmer's daughter, I have seen my share of items; usually calendars and pens or small notepads are given away. Using corn-based plastic items or the following would reach the appeal of many farmers I know.

To stand out from the crowd; some great ideas for this time of year include; a Tool Kit, tape measures, A small retractable cutter (like an exacto knife for a keychain), Large Magnets with your information on them or a Magna Dose Magnet for farm stock medicene dispensing-www.uplineideas.com

    Sunscreen, Bug Repellent, Bandages-www.customhbc.com.

Anything that can be posted in an office area or used as a computer gadget might also be welcomed as most farmers are online daily. You will need to contact a promotional products distributor to purchase these items and these companies can steer you in the right direction.

    Good luck,
    Sarah

I think it,s better to give them gift cards with a small amount of money. On the gift car you can add your logo & also advertise
