    Dear ldanielson,

    In a word: Google.

The keyword search "Home baking blogs" results in the following,
the last one of which lists over 300 pages of blogs in the home baking niche:

    https://www.BakeorBreak.com
    https://www.DessertFirst.TypePad.com
    https://www.AWhiskandaSpoon.WordPress.com
    https://www.happyhomebaking.blogspot.com
    https://www.choochiak.blogspot.com/2009/06/making-bun.html

    https://www.blogged.com/directory/family-home/cooking/baking-desserts

    I hope this helps.

Gary takes a great approach with doing a keyword search. Don't forget to try searching on bing as well as you will find some different results.

However, they've all got their URLs and are probably seriously trying to build up their own blog. Not sure what you are looking for - but you might also consider looking at people who have a lot to say about "home baking" but have not launched to the level of having their own site. I would got to wordress.com and search "home baking".

    Good Luck

Another approach - take a look at which home baking blogs have the highest Technorati authority (based on links to the blogs). Some of the top ones include:

    https://cupcakesandcrinoline.com/
    https://creativehomebaking.blogspot.com/
    https://www.yumsugar.com/
    https://blissfullydomestic.com/

another approach is to type "in home baking" and other relevant keyword phrases into to google's blog search.

people above have suggested many ways to identify blogs, and therefore those who write blogs (and maybe even some who respond to them).

But how can you rank all these results?

One way to do it is to use Google to search on the URL, which will give you an indication of how many people link to the blog, which gives you a hint of how popular they are. You can also use Google to find out how many people link to the site (click on the advanced link, if you need more assistance send me an e-mail). Good luck!

Thanks so much for your guidance! In addition to the google search options, I was hoping to find a service or company that specializes in blogger evaluations and could help us evaluate the bloggers. I'd like to find a service that specializes in this arena and can evaluate based on both size and scope of the blogger's audience as well as the quality of the blogging relative to our category. Are my expectations unrealistic?

    Dear ldanielson,

The best sites and audience evaluation services are Alexa and Quantcast. If the site you're interested in is listed with them, Quantcast and Alexa both offer a wealth of information.

    www.quantcast.com

    www.alexa.com

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
