We'd love to help you, but you haven't provided enough information for us to do much.

Let's start with a clear definition of your target audience. Who are they? Where do they live? What are they using/doing now? Who is your competition?

Next, how do you expect the target audience to learn about your new venture? What are all the touchpoints for your brand-to-be? Have you developed business and marketing plans? What is your unique positioning benefit? Why should the target audience want what you're offering?

There are probably a dozen other questions, but if you can help us with these, we can get started on the branding project.

Oh, and please let us know what YOUR objective is for the business. How will you measure your own success?

All of these will help us do a better job of helping with your branding effort.

And if this is a serious project that is really important to you, it probably makes sense to consider some professional outside assistance. There are a number of experts on this forum who are accomplished at positioning and branding, and you might want to consider posting a project (click on "Post a Project" in the column at the right) or contacting a few of them directly and engaging the services of someone who has been through this drill before.

    Dear ondemandleads,

You begin by giving us some detail: who, what, where, when, how, and so on. Then you wrap your mind around the concept of branding being more than just sticking a name on something.

If you cannot or will not give more information you're not going to make much progress. You brand yourself when you meet people's needs, exceed their expectations and when you offer even more value.

I concur. Your question is too vague for us to be able to provide any assistance.

Only advice I could give would be to Google "branding on social media" or similar and see what comes up. May be some posts of interest.
