How To Compete With Multinational Companies India

Posted by tahir.ahamad on 125 Points
Please provide me best marketing ideas , (Innovative Promotion & Budget Advertising ) for our branded Whole Wheat Atta (Flour). We have to compete with the multinationals like General Mills (Pillsbury). The key for that is to capture the other segment of consumers who still get there wheat ground at local chakkis , inorder to get the purest Atta possible. So how do i prove to this segment of consumer for our traditional style grinding and the same purity as of from the local chakkis ( grinder)
The main USP of ours against these local chakkis are
1> hygienic Wheat Flour
2> Branded Wheat Flour with the same traditional taste & process of grinding
3> The best quality raw material i.e wheat procured
4> Affordable pricing

Now how do i frame all these points in brief & acceptable manner. please help. i.e copy writing for my brochure, print media & boards & give me some promotional ideas too to sustain along with the MNC's

The first advice I'll give you is this.
Do not try to do it yourself.
The second is along those lines: hire an expert who knows how the multinationals work.
They have invested many years and many millions to find out the right formula for their success. That's why they are MULTINATIONALS.
A simple answer here is not going to be your solution.
There is no magic formula for all this.
To compete with a giant, you need to be a giant (at least in your thinking) and even if you don't have the budget, you must talk to professionals. The biggest mistake you made in your request is to focus on yourself, what you do and what you can supply.
Instead, you have to focus on the consumer and know what they want and need. That will be a good starting point.
