Bridal Show Booth Help

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi I have a 10x10 booth for a bridal show that I am taking part in next week.
Since this is my first bridal show I need some tips on how to decorate my booth, tables ,walls.
Different types of visuals or flyers I may need, how to attract visitors, just general but specific tips that will help me plan and decorate my booth.
My product is a weight loss garmet that will instantly drop the brides dress sizes.

Thank You

Is there any way the brides can try the garment and see the results for themselves? Actual experience is worth much more than any graphic. I would focus on before and after shots if the difference is something you can see and client testimonials. You want a graphic that will stop traffic or at least slow them down long enough for you to invite them into your booth.

You probably don't have enough time to get a good banner stand made...you need to have something printed that's easy for people to see from a couple booths away and know what it's about. In other words it shouldn't have more than about 5 words.

I would be focusing on what you are going to say to people to get them into your booth. Come up with four or five different opening lines that will engage your customer and start conversation...questions that they cannot answer yes/no. If you just smile at people and say hello you're wasting your time. May try, "What would you do if a week before your wedding your dress no longer fit?".

I'm sure you don't need a lecture about the problem with waiting until the last minute (or the last week) ... but you really do cut down on all the good options when you do this.

Given that, you need to quickly get a large sign that visually explains the benefit, and then you need to have a simple brochure with testimonials and before/after photos. No excuses. Just get those things done quickly.

Do you have a website? If so, be sure to include the URL in your brochure.

And as soon as the show is over, develop a proper marketing plan for your business and decide what you're going to do for the NEXT bridal show so you don't ever again have to make these kinds of decisions with a [proverbial] gun to your head.

Can you hire identical twin women, one wearing the garment the other not? That'd be the strongest way to show off what you're selling.

Are you comfortable wearing a dress WITH the garment and a life size pic without?

There are a lot of these kind of garments out there. Not trying to discourage you, but you'll need an attention grabber to prevent the "I saw that on TV" response

Depending on your budget, you can do lots of different things, but weight loss wise the best attractors are before and after pictures. I would do a full size carton figures featuring bride in a dress that doesn't fit, and same bride after she lost weight. Weight loss nutrition colors are warm and intense - red, orange, yellow. Also, bring a scale and advertise free height and weight measuring at the event. You also can use simple body fat tester to measure the amount of body fate percentage.

    Good Luck!
