Have you tried coloring "ourhandyman" as in the logo throughout the copy? If it looks good, that'll help the branding.

Get rid of the "Welcome to our handyman website" - it doesn't add anything.

Since you serve the UK, why not put some of the larger cities you serve on your home page (and in your first paragraph). That'll both help SEO and quickly tell the reader who you serve.

Get rid of the 2nd menu at the footer (Home / Terms & Conditions). It doesn't seem to be doing anything.

You're not using the 3rd column well. Perhaps convert your website to a 2 column format?

You have the right idea placing the key phrase at the start of the title tag but the home page title tag unnecessarily repeats the handyman keyword. Eliminate the first instance and go with something along the lines of:

"Handy Man Services UK- Get your home and business projects done"

The above stays within 65 characters, gets the keyword phrase at the beginning and solves a problem which makes the title more clickable in the search engine results pages (SERP).

    You could also consider:
"Handy Man Services UK- Get your home and business projects done | OurHandyMan.co.uk"

The domain may however be truncated in the SERPs.

Move the domain name to the end of the title tag on your interior pages. Currently it is at the start of the tag.

You can go overboard with alt tags but you could also work the keyphrase into another tag or use a synonym.

Unless your monetization model is Adsense or it is contributing a fair amount of income I would consider removing the distraction from the page. You will keep your visitors on site longer and potentially pick up more sales. If the Adsense income is substantial please disregard this but my suspicion is that it isn't and it's potentially preventing visitors from discovering what YOU do.

I did a quick screenshot to show how much better the eye can focus on your core message with some simple changes:

The interior pages are lean on copy that search engines thrive on. Consider also adding photos of completed projects within each category.

From a usability perspective I would make the logo a link to home.

Your link portfolio is mostly made up of directory listings. Round out your backlinks from other sources.

The keyword density is high. It looks like the page is highly overoptimized repeating handyman 20+ times on the home page. Removing the adsense ads will help but it would be wise to reduce the density.

There is more but it takes hours to properly review a site. I hope this gets you started.

Thanks for your comments. I would like to have seen the image you made without the adsense links. The link to the image did not work.

    Can you re-submit it please
