    What's your context here? Case studies of which aspects of SEO, in which niches, with what outcome, over what time span, and so on?

    Combine a (Google) search on competitor PR agencies (to get a list), then compare them with alexa.com. While Alexa can skew the data, it'll be consistent across your samples.

    Likewise, you could use Google's Keyword Tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) to see what keywords your competition is using as well as a SEO tool (such as SEO SpyGlass (https://www.link-assistant.com/seo-spyglass/) to further drill down on keywords & links.
