Sub Brand Bigger Than Its Parent Brand

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am looking for examples where the sub brand is bigger than its parent brand. I can think of an exampl ein UK: Talk Talk vs Carphone Warehouse, where a leading telecoms retailer (carphone warehouse) started a telecoms company (TalkTalk) and the latter is now more recognised than the parent brand. I am aware that this isn't a great example, which is why I am looking for others please.

Thanks
