    Hi Heena,

Do you mean 'Convention Center'? 'convential' means something else! also, can you give us some more background as to the location and target audience of this convention center?

    cheers

Yes I was thinking "Centre of wha”t or what centre? Also size, numbers, facilities where, possible uses and so on

If you really did mean a conventional centre then read Simon Smolin and avoid marketing Black Holes.

    They have very unconventional centres

You will need to clarify your question and provide some additional information. Where? Who are current customers? Is this even a going business? What have you tried? What worked and what didn't? Etc.

    Hi All

By the conventional center I mean the place for event, exhibition, seminars etc.
The project is in India ( Goverment land), we need to develop a business model for the same.

This would be 100 odd acres with mix of Hotel facility (which is obvious too), but i need to understand some innovative ways by which we can have revenue generated other than fix fees of delegates and shows....

Other than rentals for other events (weddings, private parties, performances), the space itself could be used by a college class space, art museum, film stage, etc.

moreover, entertainment and catering typically add a lot to the revenues; I found such plans for US convention centers such as those in LA and Minneapolis:
