Fix typos in meta tag description "...expert in Black Cystal Chandeliers..." and: and " discover="" the="" darkside="" .="">

Also, read report on SEO details: https://websitegrader.com/site/www.black-chandelier.com

Note that SEO is fine, but you really want people to visit your website and purchase from you. That's what you want to truly optimize for, not simply more traffic.

It's a tough question. I just did a "quick" site review for a client and it took over 6.5 hours. Getting something substantiative in a forum is difficult to do.

    Some quick observations:

    1. My suspicion is that your conversion rate is really low because when I look at the home page I don't really see what I'm expecting from an online store-I can't find products for sale. I have to go 4 levels deep before I get to product I can buy. I hope you prove me wrong but I think this approach will hold you back greatly.

    2. You're positioning the site with a sinister, evil-worshiping, bondage kind of feel. Are your buyers into S&M or are they looking to beautify their home? If you are selling to homeowners I suspect that you'll turn them away with the concept & look. Also, if I'm buying a light do I want to explore the dark side?

A good way to tell is to put up another site positioned for homeowners, exclude it from search engines and do some A/B testing with PPC. Dump the site that doesn't convert as well. I think you know which one I think that will be but testing takes opinion out of the equation to some degree.

    3. If your primary keyword phrase is "black chandelier", then change your home page title tag to focus on it. Put your important phrases at the start of the tag.

Black Chandelier | A collection of rare black lighting fixtures from Black-Chandelier.com

You've done this on other pages though the other pages are simply stating a keyword in the title. You should get the KW at the start but you should also add a compelling direct-response style call to action or statement. You want to compel users to click your title when they are on search engine results pages.

    4. I'm not liking the transition from the site to the checkout site. The look should continue through the checkout. I'm not a fan of checkout being on a third-party domain but if you have to do it, then at least offer some continuation. It's a trust signal.

Furthermore the third party checkout system looks very homemade. If I were putting a credit cart into it I'd want it to look slick. I can't get back to the main site from the cart (I see the link but it's hard to find).

    5. There is no or very little HTML text on each page. Regardless of the media, search engines read and rank text.

    6. I'm getting a 404 error on your lamps link in your navigation.

    7. Your home link in your nav points to /index.html and should point to / or preferably the full URL without the "index.html".

Again, this takes a long time to do completely so I hope this little bit helps.
