Dental Magazine Needs Help With A Branding Concept

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi all,

I am hoping you can help. We just finished a branding exercise for our New Dental Magazine. The theme is "We got you covered." We have one idea of an umbrella with the logo on it, but we need another idea.

I do not want to get to clinical. I want to represent the fact that our magazine has our readers covered with any information they are looking for through some type of imagery. So the key word is covered or coverage. My second thought was a crown/bridge for teeth. But having to do with teeth is not necessary.

You help is much appreciated.

Perhaps a person, or a family, peeking out from under a blanket. They are obviously "covered," and you can have whatever expression or personality you like for the person/people.

Could be original photography or stock photo, as appropriate for your needs.

    Here are a couple:
    1. An animated image of a tooth holding the same umbrella with your logo on it
    2. A tortoise shell with your logo on it

    Best

This is a B-to-B magazine and it is free to Dental Professionals. I agree with the umbrella. So I am looking for something that is not cliché but not too corny. I was thinking a bridge (london bridge) a crown (King)—using a synonym.

An open toothy mouth with each tooth labeled for a topic you cover (or a dental chart with the teeth similarly labeled).

Or instead of "covered" use something like "supported", showing a dentist sitting in their own dental chair smiling.
