Working for a small company whos name was their product name. We are now re-branding. The current name of the business in an LLC. Does this change how we are going to re-name the company? Can it be an LLC with out stating that in the name?

A name is what the company is called. Its brand is everything it stands for and everything it delivers.

I agree with BARQ. Your brand is what you're known by, and you're only required to include the LLC on official/legal documents. While working with your rebrand, make sure that there's a clear correlation between the product/old brand and the new name.
