Dear Spice Rub maker,

Everything Randall's told you? Listen to it. It may not be what you wanted to hear, but that's the thing about the truth: sometimes, it's difficult to accept. The bottom line is this: one rub is just that, one rub.

One rub for one kind of use is too limiting. You need variety because variety removes the everyday and the mundane. Life (and food) is more fun when it has variety.

You CAN do this, you CAN make it work. However, before you can press the "GO" button, you need to carry out lots of research and ask lots of questions. Who, what, where, why, when, how much, how often, mixed with what ... and so on.
