Company Logo

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi,

I am in the process of starting my own company with a partner. We paid to have a logo designed for us, and we are in disagreement over the quality of the design, and just seeking an opinion from a professional.

Is there a way of submitting my logo for review? I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks,

Casey.

Did you provide the designer with a clear Creative Brief? If so, I'd be willing to look at the Creative Brief and submission and offer a professional opinion. No cost. Just contact me via the email address in my profile.

Without a Creative Brief the whole thing is subjective and you deserve what you get.

You can also post a link to the logo for us to view. But without understanding what you specifically asked for and your back-and-forth communication, it's simply our gut reactions.

Casey - if you are starting a business, you will have customers in mind. Your logo needs to speak to them, just as your business does. If you have the ability, organize a small display network campaign. This is where your advertisements appear on blogs and newspapers (or this site!) and people get to see them even when they aren't looking for them. Which is the beauty of the display network!

It will give you a sensible answer within a week at most. What's more, you can target to your heart's content. It is extremely flexible and extremely powerful - and it won't break the bank.
