Brands Revival- India

many popular brands in india have lost visibility now. as a part of my project on brand revival i need to research on them(only FMCG or apparel brands)
i have found the following..if you can think of any other please comment
1-postman oil
2-binaca toothpaste
3-forhans toothpaste
4-captain cook salt
5-keo karpin oil
6-polson butter
Also any brand which you wish to see in markets again

    Asha chocolates - spelled Aasay
    they were most sold chocolates in chocolates but had a down fall due to the economy growth, will have a good scope to make a project on it as it resembles the change in lifestyle of people and there expenditure growth.

    Coming to apparels - its Kumar ready mades the same reason for the downfall.

    Hi,

    1. FMCG - Gold Spot - I think one of the first Indian soft drink brand
    2. Apparel - Dinesh - Sunil Gavasker was brand ambassador for the same in early 90's

    thank you so much for your responses :)
    unfortunately goldspot was acquired by coca cola and was discontinued to kill the competetion for its product "fanta" so it cannot be revived now.
    same fate was met by other drinks such rimzim,citra etc
