How To Use Google+ Effectively As A Realtor?

Posted by Anonymous on 155 Points
Being new to the social media world, I would appreciate anyone willing to share their ABC's on how to utilize Google+ as an "effective" tool for business. I am going to use Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook for my real estate business. My first impressions are that Google+ and LinkedIn will be most valuable. Do you agree?

I am going to take one at at a time. Google+ is my current focus and would appreciate some basic, experienced advice. Thank you!

The key to success in utilizing Google+, and any of the leading social media brands, is to create great content. You have to give your (targeted) audience a reason to visit your social media presence, and come back for more. So minimize the "chest pounding" stuff and give them tools and information that is relevant and useful for them.

I know of several businesses that have been based on Twitter and Facebook - if your audience is young, these two will be useful to you. In any case you shouldn't ignore them.

My other thought is to make yourself interesting - by which I mean not that you do business, but emphasizing the WAY you do business. That special something that makes your business stand out. It's easy to connect with people when you have a character.

Bland, featureless realtors aren't very interesting. Dare to be different, and you'll get attention.
