Metrics, Anylytics And Measures In Marketing

Could you please what`s the difference between marketing metrics, marketing analytics and marketing measures and give some examples for each? Thank you.

    They are all numbers and all pretty much the same thing: numbers of impressions, numbers of responses, numbers of conversions, numbers of sales.

    Metrics are generally standard measures to assess market impact - so share, sales volume, awareness, penetration, responses, conversion rate, opening rate etc. Analytics for me is the process of analysing marketing numbers and stats to try to uncover hidden relationships and efficiencies. Marketing measures is much vaguer and could cover the other two, but might include ROI, marketing spend and softer more internal numbers.
