Names Wanted For A Home-help Business

Posted by kimscakes on 250 Points
I am looking to start a business offering cleaning, home-help and handy-man services in the UK.

I'd like a name which is clear with respect to our services, but also indicates our ethos (caring, dependable, honest and community spirited).

Our cleaning services may be directed at domestic or commercial customers, but the home-help and handy-man customers are likely to be the elderly who need support in their own home with jobs which they might find difficult - cleaning, cooking, shopping, gardening etc.

I would really appreciate any help with this.

So far, I have come up with the names;
Cherish
Happy Homes
and Helping Hand.

Thanks folks...

    Thank you Jay for replying. Is it normal only to get one response?

    From your wide ranging description of services (domestic and commercial cleaning, cooking, shopping, gardening, handy-man i.e.- carpentry, plumbing, etc.) it is tough to come up with a name that also expresses your values (caring, dependable, honest, community spirited). That's a lot for a name
    I get the impression you'd like to be-
    Almost Everything for Almost Everybody Services

    And that doesn't seem realistic. Can you narrow those down a bit?

    @Kim - you asked the question on a Saturday, when most of the active respondents (US-based) are out of the office... and as such not on Mktg.Profs. A single answer at time of your inquiry is not far-fetched; and as Mr Steffes is demonstrating, we start reading these as we start our work day.

    Now, your specific situation: I'm not sure what the history is, but is "Jeeves" a respected character over there? For the services you presented, perhaps a butler figure would be a safe choice. Or maybe Elves (as in Santa's Little Helpers). As you can see, my suggestions lean towards creating personalities as these embody that trustworthy ethos that you are trying to give off - customers get attached to characters.
