Need A Descriptive Name For A Business Model

Posted by Anonymous on 3000 Points
I need a descriptive name to package my business model concept to patent and market. It's just like a Business In a Box but that name is taken. It's a tax business start up concept where we provide and purchase everything you need to start a tax business, not a franchise, it's a program.
We need a great name to market to perspective business owners and to be able to patent the concept and model.
I need something that will describe they will be getting everything they need to start their own tax preparation business.
We want to patent our model because we literally provide everything all the way to the staplers. No one else has this idea so we want it be successful on a national market. The name of what we call it can help or hurt our business, so this is the most important part. The name of the company is TaxPLUS.
This is an highly, extremely important question, the reason I brought it to this community to get the best information, serious participants and answers.

It would help us to know if the name TaxPLUS is locked-in or if it is still "negotiable." What is the "PLUS?" Who is the target audience for that name? If it's a name that consumers will see, then it's important to make the "plus" sound like a benefit. As it stands, "TaxPLUS" could be interpreted as an add-on to a person's tax bill.

If we can work with the name AND the descriptive name, we can probably come up with a great identifier. One of the problems, of course, is that the target audience for your idea is people who want to set up their own tax prep businesses, while the audience for consumers is people who want professional tax prep services. Different audiences, different benefits. It's hard to serve two masters with a single name/tagline/descriptor.

TaxPLUS tax business in a box.
    TaxPLUS turnkey tax business.

Maybe add a slogan like "we make starting and running a tax preparation business easy" or "Focus on preparing taxes, not running your business"

You almost need 2 names/slogans, as you have 2 markets. 1 market is selling the business to prospective owners. The other business is to sell the service of these owners to their clients so they can be successful. Unless the plan is that each person that buys a TaxPLUS business license then runs the business under their own business name.

Our target market is people who want to start their own tax business or people want to start a business to seek financial freedom.
TaxPLUS is the name of our company but don't have to be the name of the business model. Business in the Box is already taken so we can't use that all even attached to the company name, that will be too long & not simple enough to describe the business model. I want to replace Business in a Box to something else that will mean the same thing but just as catchy as business in a box or biz in a box.
We are only need assistance with the tax business model concept not the tax preparation business at all...that is something totally different.
Perspective buyers in the program can use the TaxPLUS business name or their own company.
Basically were trying to replace the name "Business in the Box" to something else but means the same thing.

All In TaxPrep (Where "All In" conveys both "everything you need is there" and "you're fulling committed to the service")
All Prepared (Where "Prepared" conveys both "tax preparation" and "ready to start")

Can you tell us what the criteria are for evaluating the suggestions? If we understand why each submission is good/bad, there's a better chance we can come up with more good ones. Otherwise we're still firing at the target with a blindfold on.

These are the ones that I feel caught the concept of our business model -
    Tax2Biz
    TaxBiz To Go
I can kind of see the the idea of "All In" but not Tax Prep, I feel "All In TaxBiz" would be a better idea for our business model.
These are the closes ones but still not what I'm seeking in a name to be marketable on a National Level.

I will make a choice by Tuesday and I hope the person I choose will be able to assist me in a tagline & maybe a simple marketing concept for the name...for hire. I appreciate the participation & feedback.

I would prefer a short name over a longer name...but if the long name is great, I will be willing to consider it.
