There is an article that describes the product life cycle at https://www.quickmba.com/marketing/product/lifecycle/. I recommend you read this and look at the 4Ps used in each stage, and see if you can figure out which most closely matches your product(s).

get a retail audit research and see the market volume compared with the population.

    IMPORTANT:
Change the axis on the traditional PLC graph to not show sales or volume, but PROFIT. What you need to know is from a profitable perspective whats happening to your product.

Its useless to know that you sales are increasing, because you may be discounting more, throwing more money into advertising or recruiting more sales staff, therefore ONLY profit can give you a clear view of whats happening.

Easy said than done, I know ... but good luck :-)

    hi hatem

AndrewS has given a splendid method.

you might use Gross Profit in case you cant get the Net Profit. But Net Profit will give you the actual picture.

    cheers!!
