Dofollow link is important for SEO as it pushes SEO link juice and boosts Page Rank. If you want to get a high-qulity link profile, it's good to combine both Dofollow and Nofollow links. Only Dofollow links indicate that you are working for links only, but a mixture of both helps Google to identify that you are gaining traffic naturally.
