Customized Urls In Google Analytics

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi all,
I created 4 customized URLs using Google's customization tool. They generated long links such as: https://www.website.com/kr/latimes?utm_source=la%20times&utm_medium=banner&....

When I look in Google Analytics, I see traffic that seems to match that URL —> La times | Banner.
However my boss is saying that I may need to do something else in order to capture the traffic data. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

When you say Google's customization tool, are you talking about the campaign builder which adds the UTM codes at the end of he URL?

In Google Analytics, you should be able to see some of the UTMs show up if you go to Acquisition / All Traffic / Source Medium. Your UTMs will sow, and the ones that didn't have UTM codes will have some default source/mediums added.

Yes, I was referring to UTMs. Thank you so much!
