Who is the universe (or target audience) for your research? Where are they located? How do you propose to use the results of your study?

FWIW, I'm not sure what a "3rd party food procurement service" is, and I've never heard of any of the companies listed. (There is no option to say "none of the above.") If results are to be meaningful and useful, you might want to have a market research professional help you get the questionnaire/methodology right.

As I have used a service I have completed your survey, even though my use is atypical - I use such service once a year for a local festival attracting 20,000 visitors who need to be fed!

I am not sure that the MP community will understand your survey as your questions are very UK orientated.

What you should also be doing is looking at the procurement process from a single or more usually from multiple possible suppliers and using LP and OR techniques to assess the optimal spend for a large, medium and small organization.

It used to be the case that a large company would plonk all of its requirements with one supplier, like the ones you mentioned or in the past, Kompass et al. Now it is common to look at a number of suppliers to get the lowest cost / greatest choice mix for various sites using different procurement services and obtaining cost savings through optimization of supply costs through cost minimization.

Another idea for your consideration. Try posting this on LinkedIn and adding an article outlining your research project in brief detail - with links to your survey.

Then select a cohort of suitable companies to approach - those who will be likely to use third part food procurement services.

Next extract the relevant executives who might be involved in the project and ask them to ad you as a connection, by offering a brief explanation as in your opening question.

Then send them a message asking for them to assist you with your survey again with a link to the article and to the survey. If you take three weeks to get to know these people, you might be surprised at the positivity of your response rate. You need tact, diplomacy and a clear message.

You could also do the same on FaceBook, but do tell people that you are not another Cambridge Analytica!!
