I am looking for benchmark material for local governments (city halls).
I am looking for the marketing & communication budget share of the total budget of local governments. Especially in the U.S., where the governments seem to be some steps ahead.
I've studied some local governments in the Netherlands and I came up with 0,1 % dedicated for marketing & communications of the total budget.
If there's a better way to measure I'd be eager to find out as well.
