Marketing Topics/questions For Dissertation?

Hi,

I'm currently going into my last year of study and undergoing my dissertation which will be heavily around marketing and I want to explore the EPL (English Premier League) however bit stuck in the mud to come up with some viable topics to discuss in my paper. I know for sure I want to talk about social media engagement amongst fans of the EPL however struggling to come up with topics amongst that to discuss in a fully planned out thesis.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You're thinking about this backwards. You are looking for a problem that fits your solution, and it should be the other way around. You need to identify a real problem that needs to be addressed, and then develop a structured approach to solving that problem.

    Who markets what to whom? How are they doing it now? What result do they want to change? What options have they tried? What worked and what didn't? Etc.
