How Much Gift Money Is Spent On New Born Babies?

I am looking for information on how much gift money is spent on new born babies (gift $/baby).

Any ideas on where to find this info?

    Hi cattyjun,

    Actually, I'll bet that information is easy to find, at least for the United States.

    Just call one/all of the many "baby" magazines that line the racks of your local Borders or Barnes & Noble (or their dotcom siblings) and call up their advertising departments and ask them (under the guise you are thinking of running an ad) they should be all over that data.

    Also, since I never assume anything, have you done a search on Google?
