Make My Logo Come To Life, Please!

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have a local artist creating my logo, but now, how do I get it from paper to my website, my letterhead, on all my advertising, etc? I mean, how do I convert an artist design created on paper to the electronic version I need for my website, my letterhead, tee shirts, mugs and anything else I want to put my logo on?

You need something like Adobe illustrator or Photoshop, coral draw, jascs panitshop pro. Scan the image in, then use the plugin that turns the image in to a vector line drawing. It converts the image to a line drawing. Then just save the image as ESP or something in a losses format like BMP, PSD, PSP, TIFF, XCF etc.

But the problem with the the applicatiosn i mentioned above is that they cost between $700 and $100 US.

There is an another option. The GIMP and InkScape.
