What's the objective? Why home-delivered fliers and not, newspaper ads, for example? Or post cards? Or cable-tv spots?

The way you ask the question, this sounds like a media solution looking for a problem to solve.

Step back and review your marketing plan. What are you trying to accomplish? Who is your prime target audience (the so-called "low-hanging fruit")? What problem(s) do they have that you can solve? How do they make these kinds of decisions? Etc.

We need more information before we can really help you. Maybe the walking-neighborhoods approach is right and maybe it isn't. Or are you so totally committed to this approach that you don't care whether it's likely to work or not?

    hi there

conrad has given a great example of creatively doing selling :-)) and really great advice from micheal on you want to do flyer in the first place.

    some ideas of flyers...

    1. in US the newspaper is ditributed in rolled format. why dont you cover the newspaper roll with your brand name and then the newspaper will be distributed. this will at least catch the attention of the consumers

    2. have the flyer in a unique shape, so that the consumer will at least think of having a look before throwing away.

    3. instead of having a newspaper flyer, design your flyer as a Parking Ticket. then distribute those flyers on the vehicles in your target area. the user will at least will see the "Ticket".

    hope that helps.

    cheers!!
