Soliciting From Elected Officials

Posted by Anonymous on 100 Points
Our company has been selected by an office of the national government (anti corruption) who is celebrating their 1st year annivesary to organize a 3-day events. We have in mind poster making, symposium, medical and outreach programs, concerts, etc. The program will involve students from all universities nationwide and NGOs. we expect 20,000 or more people involve.

We are to solicit sponsors since this will entail a lot of money.

My question is : Will it be RIGHT to solicit from government officials elected and appointed knowing they are the target of this movement, which is FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION which is a condition rampant in our government system?

The agreement we entered was 50-50 in whatever sponsorship we get.

Financially, this is a wise move but morally we know its not.....I need some advice please.
