A awatch book is used primarily in the design industries and is used by the designers to help their clients, or themselves, seek out the color or material they desire for a specific project.

It allows them to identify the colors, hues, tones that they need and want and allows them to mix and match and then extend these colors to the whole design process.

With materials/fabrics it also allows for the touching and feeling of them.

Think "sample book" of colors, fabrics & materials.
