I need to create a highly targeted list of companies/contacts we should send it to. I am capable of amassing the company list myself using the web. The right contacts are the hard part. I, too could create the list through cold calling given enough time. But I have been waiting so long for the brochure, I can't afford to spend the time needed to "handbuild" the list.
Question: How can I rent/buy a list/database/directory that will allow me to follow up with the contacts by phone after I mail it? Typical DM list rentals must use third party mailers. Is there some sort of hybrid approach I am not aware of?
I need to reach the Design/Engineering/R&D staff of medical device and laboratory equipment manufacturers in the NE US.
I am currently perusing all the lists/resources I can online, and I'm going a little nuts reading all the clauses in the user agreements. Any knowledge you can share would be appreciated.
