Brand Personality?

What is the personality of a brand, can brands and my business have a personality, is this just a logo?
I need to respond to an email from a consultant, can anyone help me pleeze?

    Welcome to our forum.

    Yes brands can have personalities, a brand personality is the way that your market views your business. Just like people can have a personality, its how you (your business) looks, behaves, dresses!, the way you speak, wat you say, what others say about you.

    The basics of a brand personality are:

    Name
    Logo
    Slogan
    Style
    Character of your peeple and your business
    Packaging of your goods
    Advertising (again, style and content)
    Promotions
    Promotional material
    Publicity

    These all work together to provide a Personality of your business (as they would person), this is then linked into your positioning to provide an overall image that the market has of you.
