    Sachin,

We have contacts in the US for most Fortune 500 companies, large travel agencies, and incentive houses. If you need a representative office in the US, e-mail me and we can talk. We represent land operator in China and Japan also.

We can put together a US marketing program for you, but if you want to do it yourself, consider:

    1) There is one consolidator in the US that handles about 65% of all travel to India. Let me know and I'll get you contact information.
    2) I can get you contacts in the airline industry to put together air/hotel packages
    3) Are you making money at 70%? or does it need to be higher
    4) Do not waste money on printed brochures in the US, your website is the best POS.
    5) Don't jump too quickly into an association with SLH or SLHW. The support is good, but results will lag behind.

Again, we're looking for a hotel to represent in the India market, so e-mail me if you're interested.

Network affiliations with other small boutique hotels (e.g. Leading Hotels of the World) may be an additional helpful strategy.

Also getting your hotel onto the major electronic bookings networks, setting up your own website with direct booking capabilities, and advertising through search engines, which can be tremendously cost effective.

Place your website URL on EVERYTHING you do an make. Start here at MP-KHE - put the website into your profile and add some text to explain what it's al about. That will start to help your Google rankings increase - our community's top level pages here are very highly ranked!

Whatever happens, you need to work fast as time is very short for this project. If you have the budget, you might consider bringing a professional agency on board for the launch.

Re: my post above, the Small Luxury Hotels of the world might be a better affiliation for you - go visit the site at https://www.slh.com - providing your hotel is really at that upper end of the market.

They currently have no hotels listed in Goa - so you would have no direct competition. They do have hotels listed in Agra, Jaipur, Kerala and Rajasthan.

    Hope this helps.
