Seo Firm That Works On Percent Of Sales?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi -
I am looking for a referral for a Search Engine Optimization company that works on a percent of sales method. Honestly, I don't even know if this is a model this industry works under - but I'd appreciate any advice on this matter.

I run several sites that offer self-facilitated, or online strategic planning. Since now is a big strategic planning season, it is time to do more around search engine returns and I have hit my limit of knowledge. I have already done the basic optimization and I need to take it to the next level. Hence, looking for an SEO vendor. Thanks for your help in advance.

Try the Marketingprof search engine vendor selector:

You could potentially also post a project this as a project:

There are out there, certaingly is I was approached by a client, then I would consider a risks and rewards approach to SEO.

As Peter suggests, post a Project, and see what happens!

    Good Luck

I want to say thanks to everyones' responses and for your time. On a few points:
    - I did already search the marketingprofs vendor selector, but barring calling each one, their revenue model is unclear.
    - Thanks for the tip on posting a project. I will look into that as a solution.

To rnorth3: Thanks for your wealth of information. We actual do sell a product - subscription to a strategic planning platform. So unlike a typical consulting engagement, it does have a clear price and is paid upon purchase. We have your basic web analytics program, but I see your point about transparency between SEO vendor and our system. I guess my thought is sales are so minor right now for online sales, that probably all sales resulting from SEO would be as a result of the vendor's work.

Thanks for the reference to your guide. I will check it out.
    Respectfully, Erica
