The report was based on data from a survey conducted in December 2023 among 315 CMOs who work for UK and US B2B enterprises (1,000+ employees).

B2B enterprise CMOs say their biggest martech challenges are an inability to integrate solutions effectively, an inability to leverage data and insights, a lack of solutions, and a lack of implementation/execution skills.

B2B enterprise CMOs say the top skills missing in their organization are martech strategy and martech integration.

B2B enterprise CMOs say they plan to upskill their team's martech capabilities with a combination of external training, vendor-provided training, in-house training, and on-the-job training.
