Most corporate event planners expect their costs to rise by 5% or more in 2026, according to recent research from Gotchafinder.

The report was based on data from a survey of more than 100 event professionals.

Some 63% of respondents expect their costs for corporate events to increase by 6%-10% in 2026, and 22% expect more than an 11% increase in costs.

Event professionals say the top factors driving higher costs are food and beverage costs and venue costs.

Although 51% of planners say event budgets are increasing, some 65% say they're still not keeping pace with inflation.
