Catch Phrase/tagline For A Landscaping Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I started my own landscaping company recently...and when i was looking for names to advertise and make business cards I turned to my girlfriend for help because she is incredibly creative with things like this. I was super excited when she said "Down to Earth Landscaping," because it was catchy and perfect...or so I thought! Little did I know, that name had already been in use in a neighboring town. I have all these jobs lined up and am working everyday...but now without a name...I would love it if someone could give me some catch phrases, or some unique tag lines, or even a business title that will grab peoples attention...something aside from your average run of the mill "blah blahs landscaping"

Thanks so much I am looking forward to your responses!

I am loving those suggestions....but do you have anything thats more sophisticated but still catchy....I do a lot of work for professionals (Doctors, lawyers and even the elderly) I don't think they would call a company that says "we can dig it" although I loved it....it won't give me too much business!

    keep em coming...im excited!!!

Maybe something to do with the fact that im younger (23)...something modern and new...trendy styles...great prices...something super catchy that I can decail on the sides of my trucks! and its mostly hardscaping....not flowers and gardens and lawn care....its retaining walls and patios and such!!!

I am strictly residential....I don't really get into the maintence end of it...im trying to get into snow removal throughout the winter but sadly havent gotten my plows yet! I design and install patios, retaining walls, patios, mulch & top soil, and the obvious lawn care, edging and so forth. I like to be innovated and create new things...new designs...sometimes get a little out of the ordinarywith the building aspect of it.

You asked if i were a business man or a landscaper. I have my degree of course in Business administration and finance. And have been working for a landscaping company since i was 15...I've got both ends of the spectrum working in my favor...so im somewhat of both. A young man looking to start off on his own...with all the current knowledge to do so...I'm just tagless!!!

I completely undertsand the caliber of this process. Finding a name will brand me for life, thats why I am here. Maybe it was a good thing down that Earth Landscaping was taken...I was drawn to it for two different reasons...it was catchy and creative, and it did seem a bit easy going and not so uptight. Although most of the work I do is for Doctors and lawyers and those of the upper middle class I don't want to sound standoffish and cold.

The few foremen I have working for me are experienced but we are all young. We have been doing this long enough to knwo what a customer is looking for and what is expected. I have a good service and a fantastic clientel for now...But I do need a name, something to establish myself....All my jobs are on heresay..."well this looks great, who did it for you" and it's a lot of name dropping. I want a phonebook add and decails on my trucks and some business cards. BUt before I can get into any of that I need a name for my services! I want people to trust me and know we can get the job done...

now that you know more of my services and what I am looking for, I am excited to see what you come up with!!!

So I came across your dillema while searching for jobs actually... Anyways I love landscaping, just graduated from college with a marketing degree and maybe I can help you out...

    I came up with....

    "Creative Scenery"

or "Scenes by Chris" (or insert your last name)

    or maybe "Backyard Beginnings"

or another might be "Extraordinary Landscape Designs"

and maybe a slogan for your company could be...

"Let (name of company) turn your yard into scenery"

"Extraordinary Landscape Designs turns the ordinary lawn into an extraordinary paradise"

I was into scenery... I hope this helps... I like thinking up different things, and these came off the top of my head.

Another idea might be if you have a certain heritage use a word like flower or plant from the language and then combine that with an english word!!

    Just some ideas...

    Green Trends
Creative landscaping, Competitive prices (good one Vic!)

    Home Yard
Creative landscaping, Competitive prices (this is a strong tagline)

    Hope this helps,
