Tagline For Adventure Company

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi!

I am the co-owner of a startup adventure travel company in Indonesia specialized in tour products to exotic destinations all over the world.

Our company name is Nomad Knights Expeditions, but we have yet decided our company tagline, for which I would very much appreciate if anybody is willing to share his/her idea of a good tagline for our new company.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best Regards,

As a travel backpacker myself, I am very interested in this sort of thing.

The thing that I wonder, though, is what would appeal to me (the backpacker adventure traveler) is likely very different than the 5 star hotel traveler.

So who are your targeting more precisely? Backpackers like me, 5 star hotel travelers, or somewhere in between? Who is your customer?

The reason I ask is answers to these questions would help the forum participants come up with better tag lines.

You are not going to get much traction with a "roughin' it" type tag line aimed at me if you are going for Daddy Warbucks who wants a luxury hotel and a very comfortable vacation -- exotic location notwithstanding.

    Hi Neil,

Thanks for responding to my question.

Actually our plan is each tour will be introduced in 2 - 3 types of budget that cater to both backpackers and also people who do not wish to compromise comfort & convenience while traveling.

Will very much appreciate ideas from forum participants.

    Best Regards,

    Djohan

Jay & Mike, thanks so much for the ideas.

I got a few tagline recommendations also from several friends. A few of them that I like most are :

    Amazing Places, Inspiring Journeys
    Amazing Places, Soul-enriching Journeys

What do you guys think? Thanks much!

I like, "Amazing Places, Inspiring Journeys"

It speaks to any traveler who wants to get out and experience things.

By the way, stay away from the word "exotic." As a backpacker and, I do not speak for anyone but myself, the word is like finger nails grating on a chalk board.

Also, your customer who wants comfort and also adventure may be big spenders but they are seekers not lay abouts. Avoid *over-using* the word luxury. You seem to already know this as you avoided using that word in your response to my question.

When going after the high end of the adventure travel market, you can say they will have adventure, cultural enrichment, nature, and inspiration in comfort without using the word "luxury" in every other sentence.

Luxury is the word you would use to get someone to go an over priced beach resort...

Neil, thanks very much for your good suggestions. I truly appreciate it and I do agree with you about avoiding the use of the words "exotic" and "luxury".

I have had discussions with my partners, and we finally decide to change the tagline to "Amazing Worlds, Inspiring Journeys".

We prefer to use the word "Worlds" instead of "World" because "Worlds" may better indicate various geographical & cultural entities which may be very different with the world familiar to the travelers.

Do you guys think the tagline is good enough? Further comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks, Djohan
