20's-something Female Real Estate Duo - Team Name And/or Slogan

Posted by Anonymous on 2625 Points
I am a real estate agent. I will be partnering up with a lender. We are working as a "one stop shop" for first time home buyers. We are female and in our mid-20's.

I have been on a conquest to find a name for the two of us but haven't come up with anything catchy. Any suggestions for a team name, slogan, and/or logo ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I want something memorable that will stick in peoples minds.

We have taken professional photos if that would be of any help. You can contact me by email at Email deleted by staff

My name is name deleted (real estate agent) "Park One Properties"

My partner's name is Name deleted (mortgage consultant) "Well Fargo Home Mortgage"

Background Info:

I am also a real estate appraiser so I am familiar with market trends

Erin works belongs to the counties top mortgage producing team

As an example (I don't want to use this): "The Real Estate Chicks" Then We'd hand out stuffed chicks with our name.

    Addressing the buyers, how about:

Easyhome - the one-stop realtor and mortgage broker.

I'm not clear about how teaming with a lender helps you with sellers. Seems to me that you can't help buyers unless you also help sellers - so what's the value proposition offered by your team for sellers? Or do you need to form a different value team for sellers, perhaps with a removalist or home stylist?

Before you settle on a name or a naming approach, you need to decide what your positioning should be. What do you want your clients to think and feel when they hear your name? What emotions do you want to evoke? What makes you different from and better than other realtors? What is the most important benefit your clients will realize if they use your services?

It's really important to think these through before you decide on a name. It's not easy to change your image, so you owe it to yourselves to get it right the first time.

You might want to start by talking to a few of your recent customers and let them tell you what they liked (and disliked) about working with you. Don't try to get them to say the things you want to hear. Really try to learn what's inside their heads. They may give you the critical information you need to create a truly effective positioning for yourselves, and that will lead you to the right name.

Question: How are you going to decide on a name? What are the criteria? If you define for yourselves what the characteristics should be for the perfect name, you'll actually increase the chances that you'll get the right name. All you have to do is share those criteria with us. And being "catchy," isn't the kind of criterion I'm talking about. What's the substance of the main idea you're trying to communicate? That's what's important.

FWIW, I'd lean toward a name that says "professional and highly competent." You already have youth and enthusiasm, so there's no need to repeat that in your name. Go for something that will allay any fears about your inexperience or possible lack of commitment to your business/clients.

    booboobear,

you all have been offered some great advice. So at the end of the day you want people to think highly of you. So give yourself something that creates a nice air about yourself but momma always said make it fun. It's your world for the asking if you believe hard enough and work even harder. Whatever name you chose work to make the name work for you. You become what you think about most. I like royalty so think rich and leave something imaginative in the minds of your client. But as I always say "I like to have fun" and being imaginative is all a part of really becoming successful and daring to do things others won't. Whatever you do get started because you will be tweaking your image for a few dozen years. No successful company ever became what they are today by remaining the same. Tweak it, tweak it, tweak it and as Thomas Edison said it best "Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration". Keep working hard. Here's to your success Kimberly and Erin.
