Tagline Req. For International Freight Forwarder

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hey
Currently running an international freight forwarding company and I am in dire need of a really good tag line, maybe some word play, Im not sure.
We ship freight around the world by air and ocean(Plane and Ship)

I was thinking:

Your need is our service, its plane to sea

What do you think? Any other ideas?

"Move it quick by air or ship."
    "Move it with a leader."
"Something to send? We're your friend."
    "We ship freight. Anywhere."
"Freight sent by air and ship."
    "Get it done."

    Our competitve edge?

Well, we have access to all major airlines and steamship lines, we have an excellent relationship with the airlines and steamship lines, we are IATA agent accredited, we have well over 15 years experience, our technology is top in this industry, our customer service is top notch. Definately cheaper, we are an "all-in-one" freight forwarder.

I do like the " it is plane to sea" very clever!

Calm yourself down first. Pl. Understand that like everything else, you will get back what you put in. Sounds like you have been running this business for a while and now for whatever reason, you arte getting panicky about not having a tagline.
THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT A TAGLINE COMMUNICATES YOUR COMPANY'S IMAGE TO YOUR CURRENT AND PRESPECTIVE CUSTOMERS. You owe it to yourself to slow down and put lots of thought into it.
    1) Ask yourself what separates you from competition. Be honest about it. If nothing, you should try to separate yourself from competition by superior customer service, on time delivery or whatever.Othwerwise you become a commodity and commodities are very easy to replace.
    2) Are you wanting to communicate the fact that you ship it by AIR or OCEAN? If so, what about your competition. If they are all doing that, that tagline will have no advantage.
SO PL. GO BACK TO DRAWING BOARD, FIND OUT WHAT SEPERATES YOU FROM YOUR COMPETITION.
    3) Most important---Ask your customers what do they look for (FORMAL OR INFORMAL SURVEY) and are you providing that. If not, Food for thought.
    4) If price is an advantage that you offer, and then it is simple--NOBODY DOES IT CHEAPER THAN US--Of course, people will wonder about your quality of service.
5)ONE MORE THOUGHT AS I AM WIRING THIS--If you FedEx Or UPS or DHL is your competition and they only send it by AIR, you can think of a Tagline like-- WE DO WHAT BIGGIES CANN'T.WILL BE VERY RISKY.

    Benefit-driven:

"International Shipping Value Leader" (value proposition)

"Shipping To 172 Countries" (you could show whatever the current # is as if it is going to change, or was recently changed) It tells the story of your international capabilities.

    Thematic, dramatizing reach:

"Our Delivery Route Is The Earth"

"All We Need Is Longitude and Latitude"

    Good luck. Hope this helps.

    "Good as gone."
    "Good as there.'
    It's there."
"Give it to us. We get it there fast."
    "Fast. Cheap. Quick."
