Tag Line For Mobile Dj

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am new here and this is my first post.
I am putting together a post card to market to Seniors i.e.: adult day health care facilities, senior housing / communities. I will be entertaining through music providing them with familiar songs etc. It's for those who can't get out much I would be bringing the party to them.
Any help would be appreciated

(assuming your name is Ron) ... DJ Ron ... on in on ... bringing music to your ears from the good years ...

if i were you i would include a picture of yourself - it is respectful and also offers people a name and a face and they know what to expect when you arrive

i guess you would be listing "songs" so that they are aware of where you are coming from ... in terms of generation/tunes

give them something to look >forward too .... all the best I am sure they will love it

    kind regards
    sharon =)

Here's a couple of thoughts for you...
The folks you are targeting don't have the same strong understanding of what a DJ is that you and I might.
I would suggest you either give yourself a name.... or use your own name... DJ Mash P will be like greek to their ears.
    Using your own name,
Ron Jones plays the sounds of the Good years...

Time Machine, playing the sounds of the 40 and 50's
    Good luck..
    Music is my life..

I think this is a great concept.

Think about the era. Jitter Bug, Twist, Love Songs etc.

Several tags come to mind such as

    Senior Swing
    Taking you down memory lane
    Songs that make you smile
    Forever Young
    Sentimental Journey

I would not use the word DJ.

    I would use something like

Melodies, Music, or Sounds by Ron

    What about....

    Classic Twisting
    Citizen Serenade
    From Me to You

    You could use the tagline
Oldies Tunes For the Young at Heart

Remember who your target prospect is - it's the management of these facilities, not the inhabitants. The songs you play will be well-targeted toward your prospect's customers. Your true prospect is well-aware of what a DJ is and what they do, so don't let that disqualify using DJ as part of the name, tag or marketing materials/advertsing you use. Still, it needs to be immediately clear what your service involves.

    Try something like:

    Musical Time Machine
tag: Music That Makes You Young Again (or, ...Takes You Back)

    Nostalgic Tunes
    (same tag)

Hope this helps. I know you are starting a small business, but don't forget to plan. Here's a free article that might help: https://resources.danskincreative.com/index.asp?guid=D9CE89F8CC724DDC98535B...

Sorry it took so long to respond to many wonderful suggestions as well as great advise. I appreciate all the time you gave for those who responded. My intent it to target the activity directors of these facilities and to keep this post card simple. I know I must choose only one of you but all the ideas will stay with me.

    Thanks again
    Ron
