Need Help Tweeking Tagline - Save Time And Money

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We resell software, implement it, train & support it. We had a company meeting and we as a group determined that what we do is "save time and money" for the client by... many different features.

It is very boring to just say save time and money. So, something like:

Reduce costs. Improve Profits. - is OK but seems too typical, not sure yet

or

Identifying cost-cutting solutions to save your company money. - is straight to the point and doesn't mince words but not sure if it is too lengthy.

I was just hoping for more exciting suggestions. I appreciate any feedback, thanks Lynn

With software, it's all about faster-time-to-value or reduced cost of ownership so every software company touts saving time and money. You might want to focus on something more specific that results from that, i.e. better decisionmaking, improved performance, more productivity, flexibility, reliability, maintenance, etc.
    Good luck.

Everybody talks about saving money and time, the only way to truly differentiate yourself is to measure your savings. I would start doing that... And make it your tag line. Charge your people to log time and money savings they have registered for customers.

    Measured Savings not Sales Talk
    Measured Savings not idle promises

    Hope this helps,

Sometimes it's a small but critical change like:

Reclaim Your Precious Time, Cut Financial Waste (what will that permit them to do in the industry vernacular? -- solve what problems? -- not enough time IS a major problem -- how will that turn into money in their job and/or industry -- how can that turn into a competitive advantage (again in industry vernacular framed within problems they recognize based on what your product really does -- hard examples of real value to performing my job in everyday language not software acronyms).

I disagree with the statement it should be for only your prospects and customers -- ideally it should also be something that every employee can repeat to answer the question "what does your company do" (in example above "we help you reclaim your precious time while cutting financial waste").

Hope this thinking helps with your client.

    Good Luck.

    How about something like:

    Making software make sense.

Making software make sense, to your people and your business.

(Making sense INCLUDES financially, if you present it that way.)
