Tagline Needed For Cpa Firm

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hello,

I am a partner in a CPA firm that consists of two women who have been in the business for 12 years. We have worked with the big six/four firms and regional firms. We are in our second year of operation of our company and we are re-branding. I am in need of a tag line. What is different about our company as compared to the larger firms is that when you are working with a large firm, you generally work with inexperienced staff. We have been at this for 12 years. We have expertise in in business and individual taxes. Most of our clients are small to mid-size companies. They often come to us in a mess and out of compliance. Within a year, we are able to get them on a program and and they are able to plan instead of react. We are much more accessible than the larger firms. We take calls on nights and weekends. We also work out of our homes. We definitely charge less than the regional firms but provide more personal service.

As a rule, taglines need to be short and sweet, yet descriptive enough that they get your message across if your business name doesn't exactly say what your business offers - they almost serve like your 3-second billboard ad so-to-speak. The easiest (IMO) way to begin is to start with keywords. From these keywords, pick out the ones that best describe your services in terms of relevancy and importance...

    Keywords:
    personal service
    quick service
    on track
    financial plan
    compliance plan
    etc.

Then, from the keywords, create a series of taglines incorporating those words - keep it short and sweet and to the point:

    Keeping you on track
Working together to keep you compliant
    Your compliance beacon
    Your compliance watchdog
    etc.

Hope this helps spark some ideas :-)

    Wendy,
My vote is for Vic's suggestion. Personal Service, Positive Results has a great ring to it and also adds the alliteration which makes it even more memorable. I think you have a keeper.

    Best Wishes,
