Newsletter/guide Names

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am in charge of an e-newsletter for a technical college. The e-letter goes out to faculty and staff with info on events. We are reformatting it into a HTML format and would like to change the name with the new look. Any suggestions?

My other project is a "New student guide." Who would want to read something with such a boring name? I have been brainstorming for two weeks and cannot think of a creative title. The obvious can be so mundane. I need help!

What is the college called? Could it appear in the newsletter name? e.g. X College News. I know, seems obvious, doesn't it?

On the New student guide - who would be interested in reading something with a name like that? I should think new students...

Perhaps you could call it something more descriptive such as "X College Freshman's Handbook" (Freshperson's handbook?)

Or "X College Practical Orientation Guide for First-Years".

Or "Your first year at X College".

Or, perhaps, more bizarrely "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy of X College".

    Hope that helps.
