Tagline For A Beach Chic Boutique

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I'm opening a eboutique catering mainly to ladies to sell light, breezy items in the style of beach chic. The boutique is called Strawberry & Lime. We will have clothes, shoes, bags, decor items, beauty products, jewelry and gift items. However, it is beach chic in the fullest sense so not just swimwear, flipflops and coveralls for a fun day out at the beach. There will be dressier items for a beach/cruise wedding or breezy comfortable items for those persons working in a beach environment (who professionally cannot do swimwear and flipflops).

The aim is for a fun and flirty yet chic and classy tone. Stuff you can use on the beach, but versatile enough to use off the beach also- rich colors, comfortable fabrics, etc. I have been trying to come up with a tagline but nothing has grabbed me. Ideas have included 'beach chic and beyond', 'all the charm of summer chic', ''refreshing style', 'always exquisite' and 'charmingly chic'.

Given that my stuff can be bought year round depending on where persons are living, vacationing or working, I'm unsure whether I should used terms such a beach or summer in the tagline ... whether that is too restrictive or seems too touristy.

Would love to hear your comments and tagline suggestions.

I think you need to tie into your name (with the tagline) and give it some meaning. Otherwise you sound like a fruit stand.

Words like "refreshing" or "delicious" or "fresh" come to mind, linked to style or fashion in some way ...

    Refreshing style
    Fresh and sassy chic
    Deliciously refreshing fashion

Intesting taglines so far. Thanks. Also thanks for the comments on the name. I had wanted something unusual but I guess I may have gone too far. My original choice for boutique name was something like 'Shopping Theraphy' but thought it would have been too broad.

Thanks everyone. One of the good things about being in the development stage is the ability backtrack and refine. The suggestions have been great but I cancelled 'Strawberry and Lime' as the name. I may use it in something else. I'm going with shop a more shopping related name.
