Real Estate Agent In Need Of A Tagline/slogan

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need to jump start my real estate business. I need suggestions for a tag line and slogan. I have used "Putting You First" for the last 2 years. It just doesn't seems to work. I need something catchy!!

Any suggestions? I am a buyers agent (ABR) and I also work with sellers. I thought a slogan for each would be a good idea but I'm not sure. Maybe 1 tag line and 2 slogans.

Thank you, Barbara Painter, Realtor

You have to go to the heart of what real estate agents do in order to come up with a great tagline. When I go to a real estate agent to sell my house - I have one objective and that's selling my house at the highest price. That is all I care about. Putting me first...how about selling the house at the highest rate first.

Now construct your tagline around what your customer may want to see when selecting an agent which I would think would center on selling the most amount of houses at the highest rate in the least amount of time. Talk about your track record at selling. If its a good record than use that as a basis rather than this customer service fluff that you have been using. Go to the heart of your service and you will find your tagline.

    Your home is my home
It's more than just a house
    Want it sold? Done!
    Looking for a house? Found!
Find me a home (sung to the tune of matchmaker, matchmaker, ...)
It's your castle, not just a house

I think the tag line should speak only in terms of selling houses in the least amount of time at the most amount. Your tagline should be born out of the above. The other stuff mentioned is just extra services.

What besides implementing a new tagline are you doing to jump-start your biz? Look at your other new/ improved actions and maybe they will spur some good tags.

More hours, more personal service, new niche, more pre-screening" of homes?

I agree with Levon -- what is at the heart of what YOU do.

An aside: you could build a theme around being a (home) matchmaker - an old-fashioned introduction service. Instead of a potential mate, you meet a home (pre-screened for your specific wants and needs).

The first date, meeting the in-laws [getting the mortgage], the engagement, the wedding ... Sift through some people introduction material and see what you can co-op.

(Your ads could mirror a society piece - Instead of Just Sold:

YOUR BUSINESS NAME, professional matchmaker, is proud to announce the engagement of 123 Main Street. 123 Main Street was born 1972 and has 3 bed 2/ baths. Blah, blah, blah ....Let me introduce you to your next love.

I know you need to maintain the professionalism of a RE agent, but it could help folks understand what a buyer's agent does. It'll make you stand out. It might also add some energy to your business and get you some press.
