Name For Pet Sitting Service - Help Needed!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am wanting to launch my own pet sitting business at the end of the year. My difficulty is in choosing an appropriate name.

My services will include, dogs, cats and horses, therefore I need a name that captures this or is generic to all.
Iv thought of things like:

Kats Pet Services
Clydesdale Pet Nanny (like this one but when google searched brings up my most local competitiors web address!!)
Scottish Pet Nanny
Scottish pet au pair

Any one any suggestions?

Thanks

Kat

I would suggest creating 3 names: one for each business. The more targeted the name, the better. Cats & dogs can be lumped together, but adding a horse to the mix makes it too heterogeneous.

    Dog/Cat/Horse Sitting by Kat
    Kat's Dog/Cat/Horse Sitting

Also, your name (Kat) makes for some punny names:

    Have Kat Watch Your Dogs/Cats/Horses
    Kat N Dogs / Horses/ Cats
    A Kat For Your Dogs/Cats/Horse

    Hi, Kat-

The more I think about it, the more I like Pet Au Pair. If your market area includes a lot of horse owners, then your audience will surely be upscale and will be familiar with the term "au pair." Here's how I would do it. I would call the business Pet Au Pair with the tag line Pet Sitting for the Discerning Owner. Then use your logo idea, possibly with the labels Canine Feline Equine. You could play with that and see how and where to place the words-- or, you may find that the logo says it all by itself. This sounds like a fun business. Good luck!

    Hey, Kat-

I'm going to upgrade my tag line. So now we have:

    Pet Au Pair
    "Pet sitting with flair"

    Best-
